Paradise Launching New Digital Core Health Platform
It has been over 40 years since Paradise Private Hospital started its first Private Practice Clinic in Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea and we are proud to have serviced you and our wider communities.
The standard patient cards have played a vital role over the years in managing our clinical workflows and business processes. However, we recognize the importance of technology and the role it plays in shaping future healthcare models. In the last 2 years, we have made a significant investment in digitalizing the Hospital by building our IT infrastructure and conducting training in preparation to implement our new Digital Hospital Management System.
“ We are extremely pleased to announce that we are finally going Digital from Wednesday 11 of October 2023. It simply means, no more manual process and searching for clinical cards with all touchpoints integrated into a singular e-patient record digitally enabled to provide better patient care. The system meets international best practices and enables us for future growth”
You may experience minor inconveniences when accessing the services, however, our team will be here to support you. We do ask for your patience and understanding.
Please also take note the current main reception will now be located towards the main entrance, and this would be the patient new service center. There will be a registration desk located at the existing reception area for e-registration of patient’s profile into new system, while our trained digital champions will be here for your assistance.
We thank our Australian digital partner DC2 for working with our IT project team to get this system ready and extend our sincere gratitude to our dedicated staff both clinical and corporate in this project. But most importantly, we thank our loyal patients for your unwavering support over the last 40 years.
Digital Health System
The system is the first fully integrated health digital platform by any health provider in Papua New Guinea and the Pacific Region with the capability to scale.
Benefits of Digital Health
Technology will underpin our transformation program with people as
the driver of change to provide better care. Digital tools provide a holistic view of patient health through access to data and empower patients and clinicians to make better-informed decisions about health care. Providers and other stakeholders are using digital health technologies to:
• Reduce inefficiencies
• Improve access
• Reduce costs
• Increase quality
