Digital Health

Paradise Going Digital

Its been over 50 years since Paradise Private Hospital started its first private Practice Clinic in Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea. The standard patient cards have played a vital role over the years in managing our clinical workflows and business processes – they have served us well.

However, the next decade will see major shifts in the design of health systems and health care, propelled by digital health and growing consumerism with Technology as a catalyst of change

We are pleased to let all our current and future patients know that we are going Digital to embrace the future. We believe that this will improve our level of service and clinical care and contribute immensely to the wider Health Industry.

We are growing, so having a Core Digital Health Platform is a key part of our transformation program

Benefits of Digital Technology

Digital tools are giving providers a more holistic view of patient health through access to data and giving patients more control over their health. Digital health offers real opportunities to improve medical outcomes and enhance efficiency.

These technologies can empower consumers to make better-informed decisions about their own health and provide new options for facilitating prevention, early diagnosis of life-threatening diseases, and management of chronic conditions outside of traditional health care settings. Providers and other stakeholders are using digital health technologies in their efforts to:

  • Reduce inefficiencies,
  • Improve access,
  • Reduce costs,
  • Increase quality, and
  • Make medicine more personalized for patients.

Patients and consumers can use digital health technologies to better manage and track their health and wellness-related activities.
