September 2, 2026Paradise Private Hospital recently visited Grade 11 students of Jubilee Catholic Secondary School, to talk on teenage Pregnancy, creating an opportunity for young people to engage in open discussions about reproductive health, responsible decision-making, and the impacts of teenage pregnancy.
The session was led by Obstetrics and Gynaecology Specialist Dr. Grace Raire, who brings more than 15 years of experience in women’s health. Drawing from her extensive clinical experience, Dr. Raire shared insights to help students better understand the physical, emotional, social, and educational implications associated with teenage pregnancy.
The session highlighted the importance of equipping young people with accurate health information and creating safe spaces where they can ask questions, seek guidance and make informed decisions about their health and future.
There was a fantastic turnout, with students actively participating throughout the session and engaging openly in the discussions. Their participation reflected the importance of having conversations around reproductive health and ensuring young people have access to information and appropriate support.
For Paradise Private Hospital, initiatives such as these form an important part of its commitment to health education, and community engagement, recognising that empowering young people with knowledge can contribute to better outcomes for individuals, families and communities.
Education today can help shape healthier futures tomorrow.
